You need a restaurant licence in order to operate a restaurant or eating establishment in the Town of Orangeville.

You need to renew your licence each year.

Licences expire on the 30th day of September.

  • your name
  • name and location of the restaurant
  • name and contact information of the owner
  • licence fee
  • copy of a Certificate of Insurance

  • all servers and cooks must wear an appropriate covering or apron while working with food
  • no room in a restaurant can be used for sleeping
  • dogs, cats and other animals are not allowed on any premise or place where food is kept, stored, cooked, prepared or served (this does not include service animals)
