Proclamations are ceremonial documents issued and signed by the Mayor or Council designate to recognize important days, weeks or months in the Town of Orangeville.

Make a proclamation request

We issue proclamations and community flag raisings for charitable or non-profit organizations to help raise public awareness about important issues or charitable fundraising campaigns.

Guidelines and regulations

All proclamations are issued at the discretion of Town Council. The Town of Orangeville will not pay for any advertising costs involved in the issuance of proclamations.  Please provide a minimum of 4 weeks notice with any requests.
